Thanks to Mellon (Jana) we will be creating a virtual birthday card for David Coverdale. As I'm sure all of you know, his birthday is September 22.

Miss Melissa, who did such a good job coordinating Jasper's card, has again offered to help.

Here is what you need to do if you wish to be included in the birthday card:

If you wish to send a scanned pic or card, please email it as a jpeg to me OR Melissa, along with any written message that will accompany the pic (if need be). Please identify yourself (BBS name or real name... it depends on how you want to appear in the card).

Melissa's email is melissakins@hotmail.com (first choice) but if the mailbox is full and your message bounces back, then send it to mmilam@mchsi.com. Please email me at this address (storm_b_ringer@hotmail.com)

Be sure to clearly identify the subject of your email (so we don't think it's junk mail and delete it by mistake). Please write the subject "David" in the heading.

The deadline to submit all greetings is September 19 (this will give Jana enough time to create the card).

Another way to submit your greeting is to write your message in a special section on mellon's site entitled Gulf of Lhun. If you are registered on the board and know how to post a message, you can just leave a message there and Jana will include it in the card. In fact, this is where Melissa will be leaving all the messages/pics she receives. The thread is called "David's Birthday... September 22".

Please feel free to pass the message along to anyone that you know that did not receive my email or does not have access to this site.

We're working on ours tonight!!!! Will send!! Thank you so much everyone for your hard work! Jasper's card was great!!!! We mentioned it when we were talking to David in Cleveland...you could tell he really missed Jasper, especially on his b-day. But he said he spent most of the day talking with him! Can't wait to the the finished product!!!!!!
