Kinda a sad thoughtful song, Don't Turn Away - Whitesnake...
Anyone ever wonder what some of these songs are about, specially the ones he obviously wrote about a woman hurting him? You almost want to say, here, have a seat and tell me what troubles your heart, I'll lend you my ear if it'll help ease the weight you carry on your shoulders, cry awhile, scream awhile then smile cause it's alright...
I know David mentioned something about not writing in that style anymore 'cause he's happily married, but what about the lyrics to Too Many Tears...whoa!

I love "Too Many Tears"...I easily put this song among my five favourites written by DC. There's a great version in "Rarities" CD...at the end, David says "Tell me, baby", in a way that only David knows how to do...Yes, when I hear it, I really want to put him on my lap ... |
