SUNDAYAgain I went to the jetty Cafe ... actually, if anyone happens to be at Morecambe, do stop by there : nice selection of very good coffees !!!
There was some by-passers again, so I kindly asked them to shoot me ;D in order to have for you my mid-Wasted condition documented ... given the night before, it could have actually be much worse !!! Geez, I must be one fit bastard ! ;D
On Sunday I change venue for
CARLETON to see a bit more "alternative" stuff ...

Anti-nazi skin bands if you like .... It was a small venue and a rather dark one to take pix ... but anyway here we go :
The first band I managed to see were the US

They were followef by
FISH BROTHERS.
The 3rd band I really liked were
3 CR www.3cr.org/ I also got their CD at the merchandise stall:
As you can see, they also got the place dancing. ;D
After them went UK

Actually, main reason for going to Carleton were
RESISTANCE 77 ... it is a band with history and they play Czech Rep. fairly often ... however I always missed them so I took this opportunity (Plus it looks likely I will see them in summer again at Antifest here in Czech Rep.)

After them went on stage
BARNSTORMER ... Celtic / Irish Oi ! ... ;D They made people dancing ... However I do not have info on them ... plus from what I caught (plus the red star) a bit too much left oriented.
Oh well, alternatives ! ;D

Since there were not very many people, the space was sufficient, I joined the punks and skins in some jump/bump/bounce dancing during the day I must admit.
...and then I moved to Market Arena to see the 3 closing acts there :
TURBONEGRO from Norway ... they were more metal than punk and they were both good and hilarious. ;D
Because there were also some skins in the audience, they did some famous Italian tune (when i remember it I will add the title ;D) and at the "peak parts" we all went at the side, leg up and went

In fact, I primarily wanted to see
REZILLOS ... I think they are Italian and they had unbeliavable drive.
And that was sadly it ! .... There were several bands I would normally go and see (PETER AND TEST TUBE BABIES, the LURKERS, ONE WAY SYSTEM, the VIBRATORS, DEADLINE ), but since I saw them at Fuck Reading punk and HC all dayer in 96, and since they are coming over for the ANTFEST in August
www.antifest.cz I instead went for those bands which I did not know or just heard of.
Plus I do not think this is my last WASTED festival .... If things go well next year (you know like : I am still around, there is no work crisis, etc ... just those conditions of "if" ;D ) ... I will happily go again .... Yeah, there is nothing like holiday in the sun baby !!!

So I went back to the campsite and strted packing ... the little bastards next tents were noisy again, but suddenly it all stopped ... yeah, they got tired at the end PLUS they got cold !
Instead of chatting and yelling and playing reggae, they all went barking .... Geez, served them right ! I could sleep with that kind of noise !
In the morning I packed the tent ... the rain was off at that specific moment ... and set off for the railway station.
On the way there (quite some walk, btw.) I met an elderly chap walking a dog, so we got involved in chat re Wasted and camping in water etc ... and thus I asked the gentleman to again shoot a pix of myself so that you have also my post-Wasted condition documented. ;D
The railway station at Morecambe is a small one, and sure enough the rain was on again ...
The way to the airport was relatively smooth (safe for a missed train to Manchester due to a 15 min. delay ... but I had some time reserve so it was OK at the end).
And when we landed in Prague guess what ... very heavy rain ... When I got out of the arrival hall, my very first reaction to the downpour was "Fucking shit !" ... yeah, these things are contagious ;D ....
