These great pics were taken by Leslie M. (that's her in the last pic... you know, the woman with the huge grin!) The pics are from the book signing in Los Angeles, March 18, 2004 at Virgin Megastore. The comments in italics are Leslie's. Doug Aldrich next to David and his tea. Doug is exceptionally sweet and humble. Doug and Alex posing for meJohn X with his 38 cent vest next to Margie. John X is a producer of David Coverdale, Rolling Stones, Bonnie Raitt, David Bowie....and he is a man who knows how to find a bargain. The legendary Tommy Aldridge and Timothy Drury. Tommy is the most amazing drummer from Whitesnake, Ted Nugent, & Ozzy. Timothy has played with The Eagles, Don Henley, and now Whitesnake. Almost the whole tableThe rest of the tableTony Franklin and Frankie Banali. Tony has played bass with David Coverdale, Jimmy Page, Paul Rodgers, and David Gilmour. Frankie is from Quiet Riot, WASP. Doug Bossi and Alex Ligertwood. Doug has played on many different albums including one of David Coverdale's and Alex is in Santana. The Coverdales. Cindy and David Finally I get David to myself. 18 years I waited. I held on tight!!! : ) Thanks, Leslie!

Here's the review I submitted for the Food That Rocks site, as well as Amazon US, Canada and UK, and Chapters Indigo:
Authors Margie Lapanja and Cindy Coverdale have gathered recipes from people from all over the music world: superstars, divas, session players, and disc jockeys. You'll also find out which musicians own restaurants or have written their own cookbooks. But "Food That Rocks" is more than that. It's your very own private concert. You get a backstage pass and complete access to a myriad of recipes. It's a cookbook like no other! You have the opportunity to read all sorts of fun facts about your favourite musicians and get a glimpse into their lives because they are sharing their most-loved recipes and childhood recollections. Being a huge David Coverdale fan, the first recipe I tried, of course, was the Soulful Shrimp Soup, a delightful southwestern dish. Serve it with a salad and some corn chips and you’ve got a meal that is not only tasty but healthy as well. "Food That Rocks" is a great gift idea but get yourself a copy also. I can guarantee it will sit among your very favourite cookbooks and that you will be using it regularly. These are real, time-honoured recipes that are easy to make and also delicious! I can’t wait to try them all. Too bad eating the same food as all these musicians won't make me any more talented! :-)

Great evening with The Coverdale's and the whole gang...Had some great conversations with Timothy and Doug before the signing and they even videoed a message to Mary's girl, Lisa (littlesnake) since she couldn't be there. It was fun to see Cindy, David and Margie again. I got some good (pics) of me and Cindy as well as the obigatory me and David..Don't know how well they turned out though (not digital ..YET) cuz I think I was blowing David's hair out of my face...(not that I'm complaining ;D). Pina..there was a HINT of 'the smell'...but I think they had been out for a while.. I know they had been shopping at one point for the baby as we talked about it....more later...love, Cindy ;D
