Since so many are asking about this on the WS website, thought I'd just tell you my experiences. ..All the meet and greets vary in just about everything except you DO meet DC and get a brief word or two in..and you get two great photos with him and he will sign something you have brought. He is the gentleman we all know him to be and very funny if the situation presents itself. Many of the 'bugs' have been worked out and you are first in the building at the general admission shows, so you are up front if you care to guard your place all night...and sometimes face 'mosh pit drunks'...(sorry jana..didn't mean you ;D ) The meet and greets have been after the show from what I've experienced. Sometimes David has to travel right away. I did notice, the night he didn't, he stayed longer and was more relaxed. That is a crap shoot as no one knows the itinerary..which tends to change from my understanding. It also depends on how many people have the M & G passes. There aren't many left to be able to buy for as they go off sale at some point prior to the show. All in all...it was worth every penny as I have spent more for just front row seats on ebay for seated shows in 2003 in the U.S. It isn't as elaborate as some M&G's, but you do get to meet the best musician in the world and realize what you see on the bbs IS what he is..caring, considerate, a true gentleman. Have fun...Love, Cindy

Great, Cindy! Many thanks! I was so happy, because I thought that I'd have the chance to be in front of David at the shows in Rio, because the venue has seats...Of course, I'd buy seats in the front row! But today they started to sell the tickets and they're gonna take the seats off and I'm sure I'll have to fight against a lot of wild teenagers to be near David...

Rosangela: buy your GA ticket anyway..If they decide to have the meet and greets, they'll offer a package minus the ticket, so you won't waste money on two tickets. You can write to fanfire and see what's up with that. They are the ones arranging it and tend to respond appropriately...try.. tickethelp@fanfire.com ..they may be able to tell you something about the Rio and South American shows as to whether anything will be offered. I wish I was coming to Rio!!! Maybe next time!!! HAVE FUN!!!!

Unfortunately, it may get wild in the front. But don't let that stop you. Find a location where you are comfortable and enjoy the show. I am sure David will know you are in the audience, even if he can't see you. You are BBS royalty... one of the first ones on the board.

;D Thank you Cindy ... how kind !!! ;D Rosangela ... if I can make it (provided i want to which is not always the case) to the first line of punk gigs, metal gigs, hard core gigs and extreme metal gigs in Germany and UK ... without knocking people down or being knocked down, actually ;D ... you can make it too and survive !!! LMAO ... the mosh pit looks worse than it actually is !!! If i may suggest one thing - try to get front line but not the central part |: those are the wildest ... try to make it to the side. As far as i know David always moves along the stage so you will not miss him. Good luck !!!!

And on a lighter note : try to attract David's attanetion by something unexpectable .... like yelling "Punk's Not Dead" and wave a huge anarchy banner on which you might put / get printed something like .... you may also consider wearing martens boots (good for mosh pit and against the wild drunkards in the front) and some self-telling t-shirt (e.g. Punk as Fuck, Extreme Music For Extreme People ... you name it ! ) with lots of iron. Due attention guaranteed !
