The film I want to see is NOTRE MUSIQUE by Jean-Luc Godard. The movie is divided into three kingdoms: 1 - Enfer, 2 - Purgatoire and 3 - Paradis.
Has anyone seen THE DREAMERS by Bernardo Bertolucci from last year? It is on DVD released today. It takes place in France during the 1968 student uprising in Paris.

I am SO behind in movie watching! I still want to see these Bertolucci films: Stealing Beauty and Little Buddha. Are they any good? The only Bertolucci film I have seen (I think) is The Last Emperor and it was amazing!

Ok, from Bertolucci to cheese but unlike Troy, Connie and Carla [/b] is supposed to be cheese... that's what makes it so funny. ;D This was an entertaining movie... perfect for an afternoon when you feel like laughing your head off (which I did). And besides, I really like Nia Vardalos (Canadian, eh?), Toni Collette and David Duchovny. This is a tale of two working-class dinner theater singers who are forced to go undercover in Los Angeles as drag queens. www.connieandcarla.com/

SPIDER-MAN 2[/size] Tobey Maguire returns as the mild-mannered Peter Parker, who is juggling the delicate balance of his dual life as a college student and a superhuman crime fighter. The entertaining adventure escalates and SpiderMan's life becomes even more complicated when he confronts a new nemesis, the brilliant Otto Octavius, (Alfred Molina) who has been reincarnated as the maniacal and multi-tentacled 'Doc Ock'.www.killermovies.com/s/spiderman2/I really liked this movie and I went in with doubts because I didn't like the first one very much. Spider-Man 2 is a much better story and I really enjoyed Alfred Molina's performance!

Btw. I have seen couple of more Depp's DVDs, I must admit I came to really like that guy and the films he is in. Jana, Have you seen Edward Scissorhands? or Benny and Joon? Johnny Depp gives great performances in these two films. I love his Charlie Chaplin routine in Benny and Joon.

Pina, I saw the Edward S. very many years ago on TV I think ... I may find courage to watch it again at some point. ;D
As for the Benny and Joon, that one I have on DVD ... I enjoyed toast ironing scenes. ;D I must admit I do enjoy most of JD's films !
