P.S.: I think it was Paulo who told me, that they were playing as a Whitesnake support band on their last tour ... in some UK cities ... and that is probably why the frontman says Thank You to David Coverdale ... i can think of other reasons, but this time, that will probably be it Hi Dagmar, The Darkness was the opening act for only one of Whitesnake's shows... the Ipswich one of May 10, 2003 (the one that's didn't have the Monsters of Rock lineup). They had already released "Permission to Land" by then so I think the "thank you" to David Coverdale was for his music and his inspiration.  |

I hope you are fine! btw: I am not understanding the lyrics of "Growing on me"...somebody can explain me? lol I am thinking about "bad things"..or "stupid things"...but maybe there is not meaning... hey it's not my fault but of the english! or of the glass bell I have been under... ;D The Darkness played in Milan! sh.t..all in that city! grr... and Rome is the capital!

Hi Mary, The expression "you're growing on me" means something like... "every day I like you more and more". Here is an example in the dictionary: grow on (vi + prep) that painting is growing on me, quel quadro più lo guardo più mi piace |

Yes, Mary. "Growing on Me" is kind of a funny "love song"! ;D He doesn't want to love her or even like her but she is always there so now he is getting used to her and he finds himself liking her more and more (she's growing on him). ;D He wants her to go away but then again, he wants her to stay! ;D He's so confused... he doesn't know if it's only her who likes him or if he really does like her in return.  It seems he DOES like her but he is too embarrassed to admit it. ;D |
