SOULFLY - Dark Ages Tour 2006

I stood just at the side, close to the stage ... I also seem to have developed a habit of standing right in the front of the sound tower. ;D ... when old (I will be deaf as a post !

The floor trembled and my body was taking sound blows from the tower (you know, those bass lines !) ... and I felt like in heaven !!! That is exactly what my stressed and frustrated mind needed. And the energy flowing around from the jumping human waves was (as always is) tremendous. If you ever need boost of energy, go to Soulfly, Sepultura and "similar" gigs !!! Plus there is something in the Soulfly music which actually inspires and boosts your vocal capacity ... I am speaking from very personal experience, lmao ... ;D Plus I love the music and really enjoy following all the mingling / blending lines, changing rhythms etc etc ... and then the anger which is in it. Simply when you get to know it, Soulfly is the music for the body, mind and the spirit.

The concert ended around 11, it took me some time to get watered a bit ... and then when out, my steps lead to the internet cafe and then back to the hotel ... where i didnt sleep at all due to the noise come from both outside and inside the hotel.

But anyway, mornign was nice and sunny in London, I spent a few hours in bookshops again, then jumped on the Stansted coach, had some sleep, then easyjet ... no kicking kids /coughing chaps this time ... nice cup of coffee, and then back home (Prague upon arrival was rainy, cold and unpleasant compared to London !)




Well, next gig is Sepultura and In Flames in Prague on Easter Monday, and I sincerely hope to see Soulfly again later in the year ! ;D

Cindy, no need to follow though you are missing lot of fun and noise ! ;D ...

I really hope to see you coming here for Whitesnake or perhaps some more brutal stuff. ;D Even if WS come and play some other locality in Czech Rep. (which has become some kind of trend recently ... for instance Rolling Stones will come to play in Brno instead of Prague) - i would gladly help arranging for the logistical things !
