The new system has a lot of new features. In the past for instance, if you clicked "bookmark this thread" you received an automatic e-mail notification whenever somebody replied.
Now the system is by default set on "No Notification".
If you want to change this, go to your PROFILE, click BOOKMARKS (upper horizontal bar, right) , then click MANAGE BOOKMARKS (upper horizontal bar, right).
There you can select either individual bookmarked threads for specific mode of notification (or none), or you can go to the bottom of the page and make it by default that all the bookmarked threads will be automatically notified.
