I wonder whether any of you is looking forward to the Stones world tour ... oops. obviously, the US tour is on already ... but as for the rest of the world, it is year 2003. As for me, I obviously am  ... hope they will make it to Prague ... though at least Leipzig / Germany seems to be on preliminary list .... which is near. And speaking of Stones ... I wonder (provided you like them) who is your fave Stone ? (Well, as for me, see the Subject  ) |

Hi Jana! Thanks for inviting me to your new board. I am so glad you emailed me, I had lost your address. Of course Keith is my favorite & I have seen 9 shows so far this tour. The boys are better than ever, so watch out when they come to Europe in 2003! I am on my way to the shows in San Francisco, CA this Thursday...3 more shows. Then I have a few more in January. I also plan to come to Amsterdam for some shows in 2003. I took many photos so far this tour, check them out on Stones Planet's tour site. Good luck with your new board!

Yay ! Blue Lena, welcome ! ;D I am so pleased you came and I am so pleased I noticed your email in the new Newsletter ! For I had your email but it kept coming back. Please re-visit when you have time ... and perhaps you might show some of your photos on this boards ? (I will of course check the Stones Planet site too !) Amsterdam might actuall be a good "come together" thing, if they do not come to Prague, Leipzig and / or London is on my list ... but I mean, Amsterdam is about the same distance, so. ... it would be great to meet you aftger all those years ! And Charlotte ... I hope she will show up here too ;D |

I am in Oxford right now ... and since I do not have any real commitments today I am browsing bookshops and music shops, and yay, made a discovery: Victor Brockis Keith Richards biography is out in re/edition and UPDATED ! I have the 90s edition and it is just a great book RECOMMENDED !!!! And I got last copy of a journal UNCUT (December) and it is full of Keith plus it features a CD titled "THE DEVILs MUSIC ... Keith Richards personal compilation of Blues, Soul and RB Classics" ... ;D Cant wait to listen to it ... and the whole magazine looks gooooood... Check it out here: www.uncut.netand also, having browsed through bookshops here it looks like couple of new books on the Stones are out ... |
