Lord of the Rings (Films)

So tell me ... who is looking forward to seeing TTT, who has already booked tickets and how many times are you going to see it ? ;D

Well, in Czech Rep. the film will come to our cinemas around mid-January, so I still have to wait ... As for the FOTR ... I cant wait to see the extended version of FOTR and the bonus tracks ... And as for how many times I have seen FOTR so far ... well ... many ! ;D

And anyway, if you have a fave / unfave character, it would be also nice to read about it / him / her ! .... On the other boards there are hot discussions related to some of the LOTR characters ... and many of them are just hilarious ! ;D

Well...I saw the first film 10 times (alas for Boromir!) So who knows with this one?

Never liked the films as much as I loved the book... they get a hold of the Tolkien atmosphere in some moments, but otherwise there are far too many "made up" things that shouldn't have been allowed to be in - AND HEY I MISS TOM BOMBADIL!!! they HAD to have good ol Tom... losers!

Unfortunatelly, I saw the film before I read the book. I liked the film though. It has only a little to do with Tolkien and his stories, and if you look at it that way, I think that they did quite a good job.

Books are beautiful though. Ahhh.

Oh and my fave character? In the film, it will have to be Boromir (Sean Bean ... ) and Ian McKellen as Gandalf.
