I have finally set up my equipment at home, yeah for some time I had a DVD player, and DVDs ... yet not a TV set, LOL. Then I also had no place to place it on, due to the boxes everywhere ... all in result of moving / renovating and the like.
So anyway, this Saturday and Sunday evening I finally and for the first time watched the FOTR and TTT extended versions and I must say, I loved them.
It really felt like looking at the film anew ... I did not realize there were so many additions from the beginning to the end, in both films, and I must say, after first impression, all the changes made sense and I really think it is a shame that the extended versions did not go to cinemas actually.
In fact the story feels richer and also there is more linkeage to the books.
I did not have time to see the appendices and all the extra stuff though ... it has to wait for Christmas. ;D Provided I will have time during the Christmas, LOL.
