Apologies for not being around much lately, all. I have just come from my father's deathbed....we are burying him on Saturday. Cancer is a horrible, horrible way to lose your loved ones and I hope this disease is eventually eradicated so that no one ever has to go through what I've just been through. I am completely devastated and feel much like Ash...utterly despondent. No, folks, nothing dangerous or reckless...simply a deep, deep heartbreak one can only feel with loss of a deeply loved parent. I intend to join the board a bit more when I've had time to get out of this abyss and hope to join you for some life-affirming, pleasant chats sometime soon. best wishes and love to all.

My deepest sympathies to both of you ! A loss of the beloved ones is always devastating so I can only wish you strength, peace of soul and perhaps some consolation which usually comes from "above" .... please come here whenever you feel like it, whenever you feel like we might lighten your burdens a bit at least.
