All birthday messages/pics for Jasper will be left here for Mellon to gather and create the virtual card. This thread is not the card that Jasper will receive... it is merely a coordinating place.
The deadline for posting birthday wishes here is August 19. Similarly, the deadline for sending your wishes/pics directly to Miss Melissa is also August 19. Melissa's email is melissakins@hotmail.com (first choice) but if the mailbox is full and your message bounces back, then send it to mmilam@mchsi.com
She will post everything she receives in this thread. So if you see it here, you can be sure it will be included in the virtual card!

A fellow BBSer (Bluejeanz) had the fabulous idea of creating a virtual birthday card for David's son Jasper. His birthday is coming up (August 21) and he will be 7 years old.
As Mellon (Jana) and I will have limited access to a computer in the next couple of weeks, we will be unable to gather all your pics and written birthday wishes... but fret thee not! Miss Melissa to the rescue! She has been appointed Coordinator of this little project! So here is what you need to do if you wish to be included in the birthday card:
If you wish to send a scanned pic or card, please email it as a jpeg to Melissa, along with any written message that will accompany the pic (if need be). Please identify yourself (BBS name or real name... it depends on how you want to appear in the card).
Melissa's email is melissakins@hotmail.com (first choice) but if the mailbox is full and your message bounces back, then send it to mmilam@mchsi.com
Be sure to clearly identify the subject of your email (so she doesn't think it's junk mail and delete it by mistake). Please write the subject "Jasper" in the heading.
The deadline to submit all greetings is August 19 (this will give Jana enough time to create the card).
Another way to submit your greeting is to write your message in a special section on mellon's site entitled Gulf of Lhun. If you are registered on the board and know how to post a message, you can just leave a message there and Jana will include it in the card. In fact, this is where Melissa will be leaving all the messages/pics she receives. The thread is called "Jasper's birthday".
So, thanks to Bluejeanz, Miss Melissa and Mellon!!! We hope to receive your greetings soon!
