;D Sorry guys for not having been around too often ... work, mess, chaos is my life ! ;D Btw. I will be travelling "a lot" during November ... meaning, all weekends taken by business trips and conferences !  Nov. 5 - 9 ... OXFORD, UK again ... I will be travelling in the morning on the Nov. 5 ...so I may stop in London if anyone is around ... (or on the way back on Sunday, Nov. 9 : I am leaving in the evening) Nov. 14 - 16 Vienna ... Nov. 20 - 23 ... well we have a conference in Prague, but I will hacve to be there all the time.  Nov. 27 - 30 Uppsala ... not definite yet. In the meantime I will be working long hours in my office till I drop dead. ;D Btw. the next yar ... the Year of the Monkey ... is supposed to be superb for e.g. Dogs (ie myself) ... One can only hope ! ;D ;D ;D |

Well, the conference went reasonably well ... though its main outcome is just more work for me ahead, lol. ;D Anyway, today I took a day off while in Uppsala ... you cant do much here due to the darkness ... but at least I went for two short trips to the Uppsala surroundings ... sure enough, the places of interest to me are mounds, burial places and the like ;D ... and there are several of them in Uppsala neighbourhood, the first being the Gamla Uppsala ... I like this drawing ... ![]() www.fotoalbum.quick.cz/pina/bbs/tt2320bab71240511c.jpg[/img]  I have taken couple of shots there so I will display those later. And then I wen to Hågaby burial place / Haga Mound on the other side of Uppsala, which is a single mound with a small stone circle nearby and since it was almost dark already, there was no one around and it just felt great there !!! My depressions went, lol ... it looks like the healthier places for me are around graveyards and burial places !!! ;D ;D ;D But for that place I cannot find any image so I will post mine when they are developed.  |

First : Photos from Uppsala are posted right here .Second: I am having problems getting online for at the office our server was hacked and had to be reinstalled and security things added and for many days my office e-mail did not work, inter alia. It actually still does not work. My PC at home has some crappy modem and it just disconnects me often and I do not have time dealing with its replacement and thus have difficultuies posting. So that you know ... But at least I can now get online from my office, though I cannot access my email as yet. |
