Hmmmm...ain't it funny how you forget some things exist? I have been reading old posts, etc., and realized it's LONG overdue to update this place. As you can now tell by the date, this long, ongoing saga is drawing a close. Time to explain a little more! LOL
November 7th was my liberation day....my divorce was final! It was quite bittersweet though because my ex-husband's birthday was 2 days before and his father died 2 days after. Also, my children have basically written me off and have decided they no longer want to have anything to do with me. This makes the holidays quite rough, but so far, I'm struggling through quite well. I must admit though that I've found a wonderful life for myself in St. Louis, Missouri (USA). It's about 500 miles from Jackson, Mississippi (where I'm from), but it's allowed me the opportunity to be myself and open my eyes, my mind, and my heart to a world of chances to start my life again. Outside missing my children, I'm probably happier now than I've been in over 10 years. I have a wonderful job that I love and look forward coming in to every day and great co-workers. I am finally standing on my own 2 feet for the 1st time in my life....I have my own apartment, and well, life couldn't be much better.
I want each of you to know how much I appreciate your support since the 1st of the year....especially those of you who know personally what has been going on in my life. You have been great friends, and solid as a rock for me to lean on. I'm sorry that I've been so absent lately, but promise to get back into the swing of things soon and hopefully we can all start making plans to get together soon!
Ok, that's all I have for now.....

 Cindy, it is fantastic to see you back ! Well, it looks like this year has been "rough" to all of us in one way or another, yet it is true that often this rougness open/ed door to new life / opportunities ... I myself still feel like on a crossroad and whether I like it or not, with so many changes under way, the next year will most likely sweet me in new directions too.  Best of luck with your new life ... and as for those loss/es you may regret for obvious reason, I wish you that they are but temporary !!! Fingers crossed !!!
