!!!i think i fell in love with this band ;D!!! ... one of their lyrics is just sooo right for two of my friends that have been there for me, when I needed them ... so instead of only writing lyrics ... this one goes to you two
THE DARKNESS "I Believe In A Thing Called Love"
Can't explain all the feelings that you're making me feel My heart's in overdrive and you're behind the steering wheel
Touching you, touching me Touching you, God you're touching me
I believe in a thing called love Just listen to the rhythm of my hart There's a chance we could make it now We'll be rocking 'til the sun goes down I believe in a thing called love Ooh!
I wanna kiss you every minute, every hour, every day You got me in a spin but everything is A.OK!
Touching you, touching me Touching you, God you're touching me
I believe in a thing called love Just listen to the rhythm of my hart There's a chance we could make it now We'll be rocking 'til the sun goes down I believe in a thing called love Ooh! Guitar!
Touching you, touching me Touching you, God you're touching me
I believe in a thing called love Just listen to the rhythm of my hart There's a chance we could make it now We'll be rocking 'til the sun goes down I believe in a thing called love Ooh!

Oh Pina, they are great! I didn't know what to think of them to start with. I saw them live - they were opening act for Deep Purple and Lyndryd Skynryd in Wembley this year ... and I didn't know them then. I thought ... !WWWHHHAAATTT!?! But now I have their CD ... I understand them a little bit and think ... finally a new band that deserves the WOW to their music ... ;D ;D ;D ... well, mabye they need to prove themselves a little more before they 'deserve' that wow ... but at least their live shows ARE unforgettable ;D ... but listen to the CD first.

WHY this song? ... just read the lyrics ... and then listen to this song. You will then know why ... who to? ... to everyone that these lyrics appeal to Ugly Kid Joe
Cats In The Cradle
My child arrived just the other day; Came to the world in the usually way But there were planes to catch and bills to pay. He learned to walk while I was away. He was talkin' 'fore I knew it. And as he grew he said, "I'm gonna be like you, Dad. You know I'm gonna be like you."
Chorus : And the cat's in the cradle and the silver s p o o n, Little boy blue and the man on the moon. "When you comin' home ?" "Son, I don't know when. We'll get together then. You know we'll have a good time then."
Well, my son turned ten just the other day. He said , "Thanks for the ball, Dad. Come on, let's play. Could you teach me to throw ?" I said, "Not today. I got a lot to do." He said, "That's okay." And he walked away and he smiled and he said, "You know, I'm gonna be like him, yeah. You know I'm gonna be like him."
Chorus
Well, he came from college just the other day, So much like a man I just had to say, "I'm proud of you. Could you sit for a while ?" He shook his head and he said with a smile, "What I'd really like, Dad, is to borrow the car keys. See you later. Can I have them please ?"
Chorus : And the cat's in the cradle and the silver s p o o n, Little boy blue and the man on the moon. "When you comin home, Son ?" "I don't know when. We'll get together then. You know we'll have a good time then."
I've long since retired, my son's moved away. I called him up just the other day. "I'd like to see you, if you don't mind." He said, "I'd love to, Dad, if I could find the time. You see my new job's a hassle and the kids have the flu, But it's sure nice talkin' to you, Dad. It's been sure nice talkin' to you."
And as I hung up the phone it occurred to me, He'd grown up just like me. My boy was just like me. (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
Chorus
