Yesterday I was digging through some piles of papers, mags and archives at home and came over couple of memorabilia that relates to music, my life, and also Whitesnake. So here is some mosaic made out of yesterday' s junk cleansing ... ;D
1) I found an old copy of Kerrang where I placed an ad for pen pals ... actually with some of them I am still in touch.
And here is the ad ... If you compare it with my BBS Bio you may notice I havent changed my taste that much, LMAO.
2) And here is some WS related memorabilia ... In the 1980 I was at the Reading Rock Fest and consequently wrote an article for a Czech music paper Jazz Bulletin published by a Czech arts group of which I had been member since 1974, the Jazz Section .... it was a kind of semi-samizdat publication. Already in 1980 the group was in serious troubles with the state machinery ... (btw. we had some 7000 members and 80.000 suporters around Czechoslovakia).

And here is the Reading Rock 1980 article and the last page is WS review ... it is in Czech, needless to stress, LOL. ;D

3) Now speaking of semi-samizdat (... i.e. semi legal/ illegal publications prepared in limited editions and typed on regular type machine .... however, though the Jazz Section publications were typed like that ... often by myself, LOL,... we still had it printed and the average nr. of copies was about 1000 - 2000) ... here is yet another example: in the 1980s we produced a 3-volume rock encyclopedy titled ROCK 2000 ... I was the editor and typist in one person ;D ... it took some 2 years to produce it - it had some 1.600 pages in total and it was the only product of this kind in the then Czechoslovakia.
Anyway, here is a small chapter related to David, and larger chapter related to Whitesnake ... and again the cover, and back page of the books.
Btw. The most difficult volume I had to re-type for a samizad publication was the Czech translation of the Lord of the Rings in 1985 ... it took me one year (I mean, these were all activities done in "leisure" time, i.e. outside of regular employment of course. ;D )
