Well, the photos will only follow .... At least I hope ... and as you can guess, not only of Whitesnake but also of Class of Zero, Sepultura, Motorhead ...
I just crawled back from the Motorhead concert and found the BBS inactive / down ... so here is my brief story ... details and photos shall follow.
I was contemplating going to Derby, but you know, my hotel booking is for Birmingham and London, and Derby has a kind of tricky connections between these cities ...
And then just prior to the gig in Birmingham, I thought bugger it ! ... Called the Assemly Rooms booking office just before closing (online sale is unavailable already of course) and booked 1 ticket. ...
Well, that was actually a hysterical situation and not that easy. In my age, without reading glasses on, dark telephone booth ... hell, I couldnt read the bloody credit card ... and in fact I realized that during those past years of online communication I actually forgot how to use the telephone booth !!!! .... If any of you know Mr. Bean .... well, that is exactly how I felt .... and most likely also looked and sounded like ;D ;D ;D But the lady on the other side of the line did actually sound sympathetically ... ;D
Now. Class of Zero ... Sepultura ... Motorhead ... My story will only follow.
Paulo, get ready for Inferno .... Someone at Motorhead boards said everything would be fine safe for Sepultura violent fans ... I was reluctant to believe, but yes, It was VIOLENT.
I was in something like 5 row ... and I did back up .... came closer again for Motorhead ... and backed up again. It was poor hell.
The 1st row would be much easier than being stuck inbetween.
But anyway .... Class Zero were fine ... Sepultura was best in their Roots Bloody Roots and War for Terriroty ... to hear these things live was TREAT in itself ...
Though, Soulfly are now more Sepultura than Sepultura ... I probably liked their Prague show better.
But as I said > War for Territory / Roots were worth the crash, lol.
Motorhead were great ... very much different set list from Trutnov ...
Photos ... well, there will be some but unfortunately from a distance ....
I will upload them when I have chance.
Paulo, be warned that I will arrive in damaged state, stinking of sweat and beer (imposed from above),
Actually, speaking of this .... The fans must have been unsually violent for there were several clashed between Lemmy and the left / front ... apparently they were throwing beer at him or something ... He was really PISSED OFF and he provided adequate summary of the crowd at the end of the show .... like All Great safe for 5 bastards ...
More to come ... My time at comp is almost up. I even will not check the typing errors and will get back to this "review" later to finish it ...
Btw One of the closing MH tunes ... Whorehouse Blues was great ... and Mickey provided splendid drumming solo @ Sacrifice .....
I loved the concert but I wished I could be closer to the stage (well, and still alive, of course) ;D
