I saw the Mist Stick thing and had a giggle, the folks I used to live next to referred to cow manure as "Mist" I'll be no one wanted to buy a "Mist Stick"
Ahh, yes, my hair can look so great with a Mist Stick, but why buy one when all I have to do is go to the barn??

Melissa is referring to my message #13 in this thread: Clairol introduced the "Mist Stick," a curling iron, into German only to find out that "mist" is slang for manure. Not too many people had use for the "manure stick". ;D Speaking of funny names, a popular brand of liquid dishwashing soap in England is called "Fairy Liquid" by Procter and Gamble, which I believe is called "Dawn" in North America. No one would use the word "fairy" for any product in Canada or the US unless it was marketed for effeminate men! See definition #2: www.wordreference.com/definition/fairy.htm
