Thought this might be a good place to post this. I won't go into a rant about machine translations but let me just say this... if companies are too cheap to hire the services of a professional translator, they shouldn't be in business!! Case in point...this was taken from a website for a financial/investment company!! The original site is in French and they used translation software to translate it into English. Here's a sample: Rich person of a knowledge to make receipt with the wire of time to have recourse to XXX for your financing is a pledge of credibility with respect to the thirds. it is also to profit from a financial sponsorship recognized in international world, to preserve the independence of your company but more especially to allow the result of your project!HUH??  Here's the same paragraph in bad Spanish! ¡Rico de unos conocimientos técnicos adquirió con el paso del tiempo recurrir al XXX para su financiación es una prenda de credibilidad frente a los terceros, es también beneficiarse de un patrocinio financiero reconocido en el mundo internacional, conservar la independencia de su sociedad pero también y sobre todo permitir el resultado de su proyecto!
