Here is a nice pic sent to me by QuietMan: This was also posted in "People's Pics" but it's worth reposting: By the way, here is a nice Xmas message: "Merry Christmas for all Whitesnake fans over the World. And the Peace always reigns in your hearts.....Take me with you The Quiet Man"

Message from Quiet Man. Here is my translation: Here is David Coverdale's first record, before joining Deep Purple. The band was called "The Government". Between 1970 - 1971, they recorded a 4-song EP: Does Anybody Know (I'm Here),..The Letter ...Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)...It's All Over Now However, this was not Coverdale's first band. He was in "Denver Mule" 1967/68..."The Skyliners" 1968/69.."The Government" 1969/71..."Harvest" and "River´s Invitation" 1971..."The Fabulosa Brothers" 1971/73. In August 1969, "The Government" supported Deep Purple in Sheffield. Jon Lord really liked David Coverdale's singing... strange.. The Burn and Stormbringer masters have been located, the tapes are in excellent condition and contain amongst other things THREE different vocals for 'Soldier Of Fortune', a powerful instrumental version of 'Highball Shooter' and Coverdale's original backwards bit for the start of the title track..David says...C**ksucker, Motherf**ker, Stormbringer....very nice. ;D Mellon will like this... she loves Rory Gallagher! ;D Here is an interesting website: homepage.ntlworld.com/nigel.d.young/whtsnake/

I have overlooked this post, lol ;D ... btw. I am just sitting at an Internet Cafe and checking displayability of the sites at different comp ... I start to be obsessed ! ;D I love Gallagher, yeees ... btw I have recently got his Live in Ireland / Irish Tour of 1974 DVD Only that my DVD player does not communicate with my old TV due to unsuitable scart thing, so I must find a way around that (I mean apart from a most straightforward solution and that would be to buy a new TV lol .... well, or replace the scart thingy ;D ) ... oh well, I love challanges.
