At AudioslaveF.'s request, we have started a new section on the site. Come here to discuss all things sports! Here is Audioslave F.'s message: "I wanted to see if it was alright to possibly open up an area of my own. I am thinking of a sports related forum, where people can go and talk about anything & anybody related to sports! They can go and opinionate, smack-talk, give advice, etc. about professional sports teams, individuals (like the Kobe Bryant issue, and how handsome so-n-so ballplayer is), and silly incidents like that sausage race incident that occurred a couple of weeks ago. Also, they can share gripes about personal sports experiences, like if they hate their personal work-out regimen (like, not liking those exercises that help tone your buttocks!), or if their kids have bonus-baby potential written all over them, or if their recent foray onto the golf course or tennis court was an absolute disaster."Of course, it's all right! All suggestions are welcome here! So please feel free to reply to this thread or even start new threads on different sports-related topics in this section (which somehow Mellon has managed to find parallels with Lord of the Rings!) mellon.topcities.com/SubDirectory/smilies/Whatever_anim.gif[/img] ;D ENJOY!

I think sports are completely important in our lives to keep us fit and healthy, to make friends, to help us in relationships you know... persons with big problems in social relationship were able to sort them out just practising a sport, you learn to share and it's really important, I think. Personally, I played volley ball during 8 years, sometimes I played basket ball (one of our greatest basketball player is playing in the NBA, he's Emanuel Ginobili, he plays in San Antonio Spurs team), sometimes I played footbal (althoguh isn't a very female sport well...) and baseball too, ... i've enjoyed doing it ... I also "played" karate do, and I think it's more than a sport, martial arts are a life's philosophy and it's really intresting... This is my contribution to your thread Judy ;D Mariana

Hi there Judy!!!What a good thread to start!!! Well, since I am more of a passive rather than active sportsgirl, I can't really speak of my workout programmes, likes and dislikes. I am very keen anyGOODsport supporter. I love IceHockey, Skiing (in any shape and form), Ice Skating ... somewhere in the middle summer sports come to it as well... such as football and ... baseball! It was actually Judy, who got me interested in it and made me think that I need to expand my sports likes even further ... and what a better way of making girl like a sport than letting her look at some of the REALLY fit sportsmen ... mmm ... mmm ... mmm ... . Here is one of them. Mmm mmm mmm ;D ;D ;D - Mr Mark Mulder of Oakland Athletics !!!Thanx!!!
