Yeah Judy, your A's will do great unless they meet my Braves in the Series! Do your worst, I can take it! I have a big sports background too, my fav sport is hockey, and my fav team, the St. Louis Blues! I grew up listening to the games on AM radio late at night, and was hooked! Anyone here old enough to remember roller derby? I know it's not a sport, but they had some vicious babes on there! ok, enough, before I get into tmi time here! PS: I've been a Braves fan over 30 years, I liked them when they sucked, too!

SWEET!!! A good friend of mine at work here just invited me to go along with her to the pre-season Raiders game this Friday night! The Raiders will be playing the St. Louis Rams! I'll be sitting near the infamous "black hole" area, which is the Raiders' end-zone for all of you who are not in-the-know. Raiders' games are a ton of fun to go to, actually. At the A's games, I typically sit in the black hole (section 106, usually row 1 or 2). Yep, this is also ground zero at Raiders games. During A's games, my seats are DIRECTLY behind the visiting team's bullpen, where the relief pitchers sit. This is an excellent way to meet baseball players and see what they are like! Pitchers and catchers are my favorite position players due to my experiences behind the 'pen.

Paulo, I always liked this term I heard on the radio when this station was promoting a golf tournament: "Wash your balls and polish your shaft!" Oooerrr! I like saying that to guys now who play golf.

SOCCER: "Bend It Like Beckham" (I haven't seen it yet, but I heard it's good!) FOOTBALL: Does "Heaven Can Wait" count? BASEBALL: "Field of Dreams" (Personally, I hated this movie, but then again, I'm not a big fan of Kevin Costner!) ;D
