My Hurricanes squeaked by West Virginia, well they can win the close ones. But they played as if they thought they could phone it in. Hope they'll learn from this and move on. I see your A's are doing well ASF, my Marlins are hanging in there. Dolphins have the Giants this sunday, Giants are last in defese so Ricky should run right over them. The rest of the Afc east lost last weekend while the dolphins rested so now they have the opportunity to pull ahead. They are #1 in the division now.

You gotta have alot of heart to be a (San Francisco, CA) Bay Area fan of professional sports, let me tell you. The Giants and the A's did not survive the first round of baseball playoffs, and the Raiders keep losing. I guess the only slight ray of hope are the 49ers.

The S.F. Chronicle summed up last night's A's loss just right: "A is for Agony, again". This was the fourth year in a row that my guys lost the critical 5th game that would advance them to the second round of the playoffs.

Well, as it stands now, that would be an interesting World Series for baseball fans if it ended up being Cubs vs. RedSox.
