What do you expect of 2006 ...


I am repasting my view of the matter from that topic submitted elsewhere:

There is one thing about forecasts for 2006 ... all (both "western" horoscopes and chinese horoscopes) claim that the year 2006 is going to be one of the best in my life (Virgo / Earth Dog) .... The point is, as the 2006 will draw to its close, I will do comparative analysis of the past years and the 2006 ... and then sue all these twisted bastards of astrologers for damages ! ... so at the end I may actually make it one of the best years in my life !

So apart for the sue-for-damages-plan, I may add is that a fairly interesting, though mad, project is most likely awaiting me in next 3 years (starting 2006) ... ex-colleagues from the Institute of English and American Studies Dept. / Charles University, invited me to join their team that is going to work on Encyclopedia of Celtic Literatures ....

It shall be a comparative thing and shall include all literary things ever written in Celtic languages .... Now my part shall be a "small one" .... to do the entries for Latin-lang. literature written in medieval times : 400 - 1200 in Celtic lands ... the poor buggers did not realize that the Latin literature corpus is as vast as the modern literature, if not vaster. ;D

I still cant believe they really mean it ... if they do, I will end up with 2 full time jobs and no time for gigs. Detrailed plans shall be made inJanuary.

Apart for this new thing which will be entirely off my normal routine : in my work I will work more on expert basis, rather than merely "managerial" - I shall be doing lots of training, some portal stuff related to e-working (it will all be done within our European Social Fund co-funded projects) ...

On personal side I plan nothing ... I hope to be able to go some gigs again and not to get entirely overworked.

Actually, looking back at an older thread Numerology ... Your number in 2004 is ... ... my personal year is 3 so I shall at least have some more fun.



So anyway, what do you expect of 2006 ?

For me, 2006 will entail spending lots of time in airplanes but it will be worth it.

I would like to explore a new city this year.

I would like to develop personally and professionally.

I would like to lay my head in the place I call home.

I will overcome obstacles and believe in myself and the decisions I make.

I will ignore negativity.

And oh yeah... have a healthier diet and exercise more. ;D

I'm Personal Year 8:

PERSONAL YEAR (8):
This year you can expect to reap the fruits of your efforts during the last seven years. If you worked hard, had focused purpose and applied real effort to your job or relationship, then this year will bring success and happiness.

If, on the other hand, your life had (until this point) been loosely structured and you floated listlessly without purpose, resolve or direction, the year 2006 could be frustrating, nerve wracking and filled with hardships, mental strain or loss of ground.

Selfishness and greed or power-hungry motives will turn on you and the life will be peppered with disappointment and loss. Remember this, it's nature's code of ethics and must not be violated.

This is definitely a year when one (who isn't happy personally) looks toward a possible ending of a relationship... business or personal. Best advice for the (8) year is... be efficient, work hard, try to transform yourself from formerly unacceptable habits and seek ways to secure clearer and happier circumstances.

If you've dreamed of improving your life or of going further (such as well as removing yourself from a marriage or relationship), then go do it. This is the year that Nature will supply the fuel, force and impetus for your emancipation. If you hesitate or feel uncertain, you'll miss the ideal moment for your total recreation. It's hard, I know, but it's the sweat and the effort (required by 2006) that ultimately make it all worth while.

Oooh the 2006!

I hope to be strong and conscious and keep on doing those languages courses that I've started (Japanese 3rd yeard, Italian, French and Portuguese 2nd year)

I hope to be able to save some money to paint my flat and buy some 'gooddies' for it.

I hope to make some progress in my carrer, I'm tired to say "I'm studying to be an Accountat", I want to be one!!

I would like to travel and meet you, but that's just a dream so far... but I have to work to make dreams come true

Here I'm sending good vibes to you to make all those things that you expect of 2006
