Just a quickie ... it is some 4.15 AM .... here is what I posted on the MH boards after the shows ... so much for "review" erm .... and then there are couple of scenic pix from Birmingham ... Nothing detailed though . Oh well, next time ...
The whole pix set is right here : fotoalbum.o2active.cz/mellon/motorhead04/
Birmingham, Nov. 25
I didnt have access to internet while moving from a gig to gig over these 3 consecutive dates ... so I am kind of late with my feedback.
Class of Zero : my first time i heard / saw them, and I did like them. It is actually quite generous to have 2 strong support bands in one tour. Anyway I only have to check the net for more info on CoZ.
Sepultura: again, my first time I saw them yet of course I know them from the beginning to the end, as it were. My only regret is that I never had chance to see them when Max was still with the band !!!! I liked the Birmigham performance better than at Hammy for some reason .... the classy tunes - especially the Roots - sounded more "authentic" to me ... whatever that means, lol.
Anyway, I wouldnt mind going for Sepultura gig of their own ... if there will be one close to my locality (Europe).
Motorhead : Well done ! ... And again I am glad I went to see them in Trutnov this summer for that show was different from this part of the tour.
As for the sound problems ... I cant say really, I had to concentrate on other things too ... like keeping my teeth in place ... the pit down there was actually violent ... I survived Trutnov first row with slightly damaged ribs, 12.000 people behind my back/on sides ... but for some reason Birmingham felt worse, lol
Anyway, I took some pix and if they turn out reasonably decent I will post them when back at my laptop.
Note on Sepultura: I saw Soulfly earliet this year when they toured with Judas Priest. While JP were real torture for my ears (and I retreated to the bar ... which I do not do often) ... regardless of poor sound they got as support band they were great and again, I wouldnt mind going for their solo gig.

Hammersmith, Nov. 28
Well ... my first time at Hammy ... and I now understand what ogri meant by avoiding London / Hammersmith.
I was in the circle, and I just hated it out there ... I mean, the sound of Motorhead was magnificent and much better than in Birmigham .... but still, to get seated for a concert like this IS perverse ;D .. and I also had some disputes with the security supervisor RE my camera .... I really dont know why that motherfucker took it just on me for there were other cameras around .... but unlike those closer to the stage / downthere, from my side it made no sense to even try to shoot something, so in fact I didnt save for some tests.
So somewhat I really felt pissed off, there were perhaps some eruptions on the sun, I dont know yet my conclusion is : never Hammy again, though it is good to see it at least once in life.
Now: Class of Zero ... the same as for Birmingham - I liked them !
Sepultura: they sounded better in Birmigham in my opinion ... yet it can also be that because there were people loosely wandering around the circle, and I had those petty talks with that shit of "supervisor" ... I had this part of the concert ruined.
General note: my preference went for Sepultura classy tunes like War for Territory, Roots Bloody Roots ... etc. My first / second time seeing Sepultura and to hear those things live is a real treat.
Motorhead: well, regardless of my complaint for the upper location ... the sound up there was MAGNIFICENT ..... it provided proper remedy for the earlier part of the concert.
Btw. I have noticed a camera moving under the ceiling : so it looks like this concert might perhaps go on a DVD in the future ? That would be great ... It may get as good as Boneshaker thing ...
I didnt mind older MH thigs / from Hammered etc ... They did include some new stuff ... and well, simply a perfect concert IMHO.

P.s. Regardless of my complaints about distance from the stage, the truth remains ... the closer to the centre / front, the closer to the death/ damage. ;D
