I also watched the play with Pina. I'm not a great fan of Christian Slater, however I enjoyed his performance as Randle Patrick McMurphy! I believe Pina has a school girl crush on CS!!! She even took pictures of CS at the end of the show! ;D Paulo aka Nurse Rat Shit (Ratched)

Paulo,
I do not have a school girl crush. You're the one that kept making me blush by whispering "The Name of the Rose" in my ear... referring to his nude "sex" scene in the movie! ;D
Nevertheless, I just may lurk outside the Gielgud Theatre and see if I can meet him and get him to autograph my programme! ;D

This was very good, although I didn't like it for the first 10 minutes or so. But once I concentrated on the singing and not on the lead's acting, I started to enjoy it. MiG Ayesa, who plays the lead character Galileo, was a good singer but he didn't blow me away and unfortunately, I didn't like his acting. The woman who plays Scaramouche (Hannah Jane Fox) was really good. Her voice is amazing (she looks and sounds kind of like Pat Benatar) and she had the best lines (absolutely hysterical!). The character of Meat was amazing also! She gave a very moving performance to Freddy Mercury and the other rockers who died before their time. Killer Queen was great too, and she sounded like of a cross between Celine Dion and Cher. We had great seats, with a perfect view of Neil Murray, who stands on an elevated platorm in the back. He was standing in the shadows (no pun intended ), wearing all black but he was slighty illuminated. He even has a "line" near the end. And when the cast come out to take their bows, he comes out on stage too (with the rest of the band). He is taller than I expected! Here's what it says about him in the programme: Neil MurrayBass Guitar Neil Murray is one of the most highly respected bass guitarists in rock and has played with musicians such as Brian May, Eric Clapton, Sting, Whitesnake and Black Sabbath and has toured extensively throughout the world. We didn't get a photo of him onstage because Paulo snapped a pic just before that and the staff freaked out! Oops! Thanks for trying anyway, Paulo! Paulo did take some photos of the outside of the theatre (to be posted soon). The outside display is amazing and the inside of the theatre is gorgeous! WOW! Pina you are seeing so many shows! In Vienna they were performing Barbarella...I don't know anything about it...only that Duran Duran took the name from a character of it. I only know the 1968 movie that was directed by Roger Vadim. Jane Fonda was in it and she was hot! ;D They were married between 1965 and 1973.
