I just wonder what is your fave book/s and author/s ?
From my site it is fairly obvious that I have a real weakness for Tolkien ... and I truly love him...
As for the other authors, I do not have real no. ones so to say, but if I shall list some of then I would go for Michail Bulgakov (Master and Margarita), Alexander Grin, ... Chesterton ... S. Beckett, G.B. Shaw, .... selected works really ...

I read just about everything, but my favorite author is JK Rowling and I love the Harry Potter books. I also love The Lord of the Rings.

Very interesting topic. I being russian can only say that I admire my native writer Ivan Bunin. Born in 1870 and died in 1953 - he had long difficult life. But his writings are classic ones, especially if you know russian. I can only say one thing. He means to me as much as David means to me in music, because most of his stories are about Love between Man and Woman. And they are very dear and special.
